What’s Your E-vangie Tale #26

“And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.” (2 Corinthians 5:19-20)
With another new evangelism class starting, I want to read about how faithful you are with God’s message of reconciliation. Write your own E-vangie Tale below by clicking “comments.”

I am ok with handing out a tract but I was very nervous to ask the million dollar question. Although I do not feel like I am an evangelist I do want to be obedient and share my faith. I prayed about it all morning then left to work. There is a bus stop in front of my job and there are always people there. Yesterday I said to my self give out a tract to whoever is there as i pulled up to my surprise only one guy was there. As I was parking I saw that he started to get up because the bus was coming. I said ok this is it no time to waste. I ran up to him and said I have a million dollar bill for you. He said why? The bus doors were now open waiting, I said I want to ask you the million dollar ?
I asked it and he got on the bus, the doors closed and I didn’t have to wait for the answer. But I was faithful and I did it with God’s help.

Drove up to the Burger King window to pay for my burger and fries and said, “can you break a large $100.00 bill?” He said yes reluctantly. Then I passed him one of our huge hundred bill tracts and he laughed out loud. Have done this over and over at different drive throughs. The funny part is not showing the big hundred until they agree to break “a large hundred.”

My daughter and I went to see Prince Caspian on Friday night and it was packed with what seemed like hundreds of kids. When the movie was done and we were getting ready to leave the theater I handed out some million dollar tracts to a boy and told him to make sure and share them with his friends. It took his breath away when he saw them. I think he thought they were real. The crowd was coming so my daughter and I left quickly. When we got out the door I didn’t see the boy and his friends behind me, I think they were still wondering if they were real. Hopefully one of them read it.
