CANBERRA— A boy who vanished from an Australian river edge was eaten by a crocodile, police said. The boy was playing with his 7-year-old brother and their dog behinf their family property in a flodded mangrove swamp when he disappeared. The boy’s brother told officers that he saw a crocodile immediately after missing his brother but did not see an attack, police said. —Daily Breeze, 2/18/09
