May Evangelism Adventures

From Cinco de Mayo celebrations, to the American Idol Finals, to Armed Forces and Gay Pride Parades, to the infamous Fiesta Hermosa, the month of May promises to be one big opportunity to reach all kinds of lost people. Please consider joining us! Here’s what we are doing:

Saturday, May 7th: Evangelism Adventure @ Olvera Street/Cinco de Mayo: Meet at Hope Chapel at Noon to carpool. Or, meet us at the Metro Rail parking lot, 370 W. Ave. 26, L.A. at about 1:15.  We take that to Olvera St. Cost: $1.75 each way.

Here’s what we’re doing the rest of the month:

Saturday, May 14th: Evangelism Adventure @ Venice Beach: Meet at Hope Chapel at Noon, eat pizza, pray and then go out to share our faith. We leave promptly at 12:30 pm, returning by 5:30 pm.

Saturday, May 21st: Evangelism Adventure @ Armed Forces Day Parade: Meet at Hope Chapel at Special Time 10:00 am, and then go out to share our faith. Parade begins at 1:30 pm, returning by 5:00 pm.

Sunday, May 22nd: Evangelism Adventure @ Long Beach Pride Parade
Meet at Hope Chapel at Special Time 8:30 am, pray and then go out to share. Parade begins at 10:30 am, returning by 3:00 pm.

Wednesday, May 25th: Evangelism Adventure @ American Idol Finale:(Tentative) Meet at Hope Chapel at Special Time 8:00 am, pray and then go out to share our faith.

Sat, Sun, Mon, May 28th – 30th: Evangelism Adventure @ Fiesta Hermosa
Meet at Fiesta Hermosa to work our Evangelism Booth from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. We have several shifts available Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Please call Barbara at 310.374.4673 ext. 140.

Other Weekly Adventures

Friday Evangelism Adventures: Meet at Hope Chapel every Friday at 4:30 pm, and then go out to the Redondo Beach Pier to share our faith, returning by 6:15 pm.

Thursday El Camino College: Meet on the Library Lawn (in front of the outdoor stage) Every Thursday from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm.
