Evangelism Adventure: Redondo Beach Pier

It’s always good to have a local fishing hole that is easy and non-threatening for those who are new to your team and as a refreshing respite for the seasoned evangelist.

The Redondo Beach Pier is just such a place.

When describing it I tell my evangelism  class that on a scale of 1 to 10, it’s a negative 3; in other words, it’s sooooooo easy, even a kid can share their faith. (In fact, that’s my eldest daughter D. D. on the box at the pier at age 9. Read about it here.)

Want a gentle excursion? Join us this Saturday. Meet at Hope Chapel at noon to carpool.

IF IT RAINS, WE’LL GO TO LAX.

Sounds like fun Pastor Steve I wish I could come along but of course for me distance is a problem (I live in Kansas).

I just had a question, did you all go to the Academy Awards this year? I got the crazy idea in my head after watching the awards on tv that it would be neat someday to come out to meet up with you and the team when you would be going to the Academy Awards. Of course out there in L.A. I don’t care where we go. Just a thought.

God bless you Pastor Steve and the team!

No. Didn’t go to the Academy Awards this year. Too many sign guys and police. They block the crowds so they can’t move and it gets way to packed.

When you come to L. A., I’ll take you down there though.

That would be awesome! I will start praying about it, maybe next year!
