Hi Everyone,
Periodically, possibly weekly, I will send you brief updates on my personal experiences in the field as I hand-out my “Passion -Tracts” and attempt to stick to my goal of witnessing once a week. I fell off my goal the last 3 weeks so please pray for me.
If you find these E-mails helpful and motivational, please forward them along. I’d love to hear how your mini-church and the people in our district are doing with the goal of handing out 1 “Passion-Tract” to 1 person, once a week!
I was in the parking lot of Starbucks on Thursday when I saw some “bad”looking teenagers from Redondo High sitting in their car looking… well, bad. I thought this would be a great opportunity to invite them to church with the passion tract.
So I sauntered up to their window (I’m sure I startled them somewhat) and asked them if they saw the movie, “The Passion of the Christ”.
They said they had. I asked them if they knew where they were going if they died right now, and of course they said they were going to Heaven.
When I queried them on how they knew that, they couldn’t answer correctly so I gave it to them, the Gospel that is.
I then handed them a “P-T”,and said we’d love to see them at Hope Chapel if they had any questions. They replied, “I hear you have a good youth group over there.”

At A-1 Coast Rentals in Lomita, Fernie came to fill up my propane bottle. I had a captive audience so we discussed the movie a little, I gave him the Gospel, and the “P-T” while noticing the topless woman tatoo on his arm.
He listened attentively but I didn’t close him on accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior. I missed a great opportunity but there will be more.
Pray for the wanna-be’s and Fernie and me (sounds like a great song title).
