Atheist Tuesday: The Devil’s Disciples?

O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still.

See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads.

With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. (Psalm 83: 1-3)

They don’t know it. They’d never believe it. They’ll laugh it off and shrug.

Their deeds are evil; so, too, their thoughts. Every inclination of their hearts, in fact, are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.

Yes, dear Christian friend, most unbelievers on this blog aim to do you harm. Great harm.

Insidious plots are afoot. Devious motives with horrible consequences are in the workings of the non-believing minds who gives no thought to God.

Is there an explanation for this, some proof perhaps?

Of course there is. I wouldn’t make such declarative statements off the top of my head without evidence….

Atheist Tuesday: ProofThatGodExists.org

A few weeks back I explained very clearly why I can’t prove that God exists, and even if I were able to, an atheist would still die in his sins because his belief would not come by faith. (Please read the article “Damning Proof” here).

Well, now there’s a man who says he can actually prove God’s existence. His name is Sye Ten Bruggencate, and he heads Sinner Ministries, which features a great website called ProofThatGodExists.org (but you probably already guessed that). Here’s his claim:

Atheist Tuesday: Love Thy Naysayer

He was amazed that I didn’t get upset and angry at the things he was spouting. “If it was me,” he confessed, “I’m not so sure I would have remained so calm.” I explained to him that after dealing with these types of unbelievers for many years, there isn’t much they can say that will rattle my cage.

If a blind man gave you erroneous directions, you wouldn’t seethe because you understand that he can’t see; you’d consult a map.

Atheist Tuesday: The Most Powerful Christian Argument

A non-Christian named Whateverman wrote this comment from my post of August 24, 2010, “The Fool Speaketh.” Please read my reply to him following.

“Let’s assume that instead of atheists rejecting ideas which are illogical or unsound, Steve’s right: atheists are simply dead to the things of God. If this were so, then evangelism would be a waste of time; it’d be like throwing a tennis ball against concrete and wondering why it bounced back.

“Yes yes, the Bible tells you to spread the word despite the fact that people are going to be unable to hear/understand it. What really confuses me is that evangelists like Steve and some of his fans here often try to defend what they say and how they say it.”

There is another reason why Christians share their message with others beside the fact that we are told to (though that should be the primary reason): It’s because…
