Police in Montana arrested a Bountiful, Utah, teenager suspected in the death of his mother, whose body was found in her own freezer, police said. Authorities arrested 18-year-old Jeremy Hauck for investigation of theft of his mother’s car which was found at a Missoula hotel. -L.A. Times, 8-11-06

This is an account from a high school girl, Micah Mounts, who went on a mission to New Orleans last week:

My first million dollar bill story! While shopping in the French Quarter on the last day of our missions trip in New Orleans, Courtney, Anais, and I got separated from the group. We stood on a street corner deciding what to do next. To the right of us were about five fortune teller stands, and one of the ladies working there was staring at us. null After a few minutes I realized that there was a reason why we’re standing there. I told my friends that we needed to talk to this lady. “Does anybody have a million dollar bill?” I asked.

Eat at Al’s?

There were two men who owned restaurants. The name of one of the men was Evan. His restaurant was situated at the top of a high hill. Admittedly, it was hard to get to, but the cuisine was well worth it. His customers were full of praise for him, even saying his food was divine. His promise was “good food for the hungry soul.” There was one stipulation: his patrons had to wear clean clothing; such a demand was reasonable.

The second man’s name was Al. It was easy to get to his restaurant. There was no high hill to climb. In fact, it was downhill all the way to his door.
