SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — An 83-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday to murdering his 94-year-old former roommate at a short-term care facility two years ago.

Prosecutors alleged that one man fatally clubbed another man  on Oct. 1, 2010, because the victim was singing in Vietnamese and he was annoyed.

The two shared a room as they recovered from hip surgery at a Health Care Center.

The man allegedly grabbed a metal rod from their closet and hit the other man over the head. Read the rest.
