NEAR ASPEN – A tragic accident near Aspen forces a wife and mother to guide their SUV to safety with one hand on the steering wheel and one hand on the brake.

The family from Missouri had just wrapped up a week long vacation in Snowmass when a rock about the size of carry-on luggage tumbled through their Chevrolet Tahoe about 4:30 p.m. Friday, hitting the driver on the side of his face and killing him instantly, said his wife, who was in the front passenger seat.
