Sudden Death: Marathon

A 30-year-old man died after being rushed to a hospital following his collapse during the Montreal Marathon on Sunday.

Officials blamed an unusually humid morning for the man’s likely heart attack during the 21st running of the annual event, CTV reported.

The weather topped 75 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday.

The man was running the half-marathon — which is 13 miles long — when he collapsed. He was about one mile from the finish line. Click here to read the rest.
