I can’t see the video on my phone, but I will say thay government is supposed to take an agnostic approach to religiom in order to fairness for all citizens. Be it atheism, Islam or whatever, our government should avoid rituals and similar actions that would betray a preference to a particular religious belief.

Town meetings should not have prayer or declarations that there is no God. It should focus on the business at hand.

I’d hate to see what you do when you are actually persecuted, Steve. A nasty shock to be sure.

    Thanks for posting this.

Christians in Britain need to WAKE UP! And be bold for the Gospel, especially while we still have free speech.

The complaints are quite likely retaliatory to the advertising complaints over the atheist bus campaign.

lol Tony Blair anti-christian, that’s hilarious.

Fairly typical scare mongering piece. I particularly enjoyed how they pad the beginning with ‘this is a christian nation!’ at the beginning, and then mention just how few people even bother to go to church at the end.

    Oh that video. So precious.

You just love to play that victim card to the hypocritical maximum. We have the gays who are denied rights that you take for granted every day almost SOLELY because of Christian beliefs. Yet you’ll whine like a wounded dog when the government actually does its job and levels the playing field rather than erect a theocracy.

I want every person to have the freedom to express his or her beliefs, but not even my own should get special treatment. Frankly, Britain would do well to eliminate the monarchy entirely.

    interesting quotes

“ It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and Bible.”
    George Washington

“What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ.” [speech to the Delaware Indian Chiefs May 12, 1779]
    George Washington

Most founding fathers shared these views. Clearly America was created as a Christian nation, with the intention God would be involved in our schools and Government. Many argue, seperation of Church and State, but all it does is it prohibits Religon from running the Government. It was never intended to completely disregard Christianity.
