Sudden Death: Fire Hydrant!

An Oakland man, Humberto Hernandez, was walking with his wife on the street when a 2007 Ford Escape blew a tire and swerved onto the sidewalk, striking a fire hydrant. The 200-pound hydrant was sent flying through the air and struck Hernandez in the back of the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
