The Results of Our Scary Lawyer’s Letter

On Thursday I posted about how one of our local Bible studies held in a local library was halted due to an errant County Administrator’s misunderstanding of what separation of church and state meant. We contacted our lawyer, then things changed. (Read about the incident here.)

Here’s what happened:

The County District Attorney called our lawyer to admit that they were wrong and that they were reviewing all county policies in regard to library usage.

The library supervisor who forbade the Bible study called our leader to apologize.

He graciously accepted.

Case closed…until the next time.

How great is our God! All will see how God is our awesome is our Lord! Jesus, the Name above all names, You are worthy to be praise and we will all sing, “How great is our God!” Nothing is impossible with God! Halleluia! Jesus is Lord (See Matthew 19:26)

    Congrats! Thank You, Jesus.

      • I love it, too. Sounds like you are are starting to appreciate what an awesome God we serve!
Says the guy who paid his lawyer, not his God, for services rendered.

      • This is essentially true: Salvation will indeed cost you your life! How shall it profit a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his very soul? He who loses his life will save it.

Pro Bono? Naw sounds like it cost you your sense of curiosity about the universe and the way it works, as evidenced by your incurious perspective about science Steve. =)

        Yup.

How do you square this with your previous comment, though? Are you agreeing that God doesn’t provide “His services” for free?
