Hope Chapel’s “Fiesta Hermosa” outreach booth here in Hermosa Beach was a huge success. Our team handed out over 15,000 Million-Dollar bill Gospel tracts over three days. In fact, it was probably closer to 17-18,000 tracts. So what’s the big deal? Why should anyone care that we handed out so many?

Because God uses them.

George Whitefield, a preacher of the 17th century who helped bring about Revival in America, got saved by a tract entitled, “The Life of God in the Soul of Man.” After reading it he said, “God showed me I must be born-again or be damned.”

A tract also saved the great China missionary, Hudson Taylor.

Billy Graham: “Nothing surpasses a tract for sowing the seed of the Good News.”

A spokesman for the American Tract Society: “53% of all who come to Christ worldwide come through the use of printed Gospel literature.”

The Prince of Preachers, Charles Spurgeon said, “[Tracts are] adapted to those persons who have but little power and little ability, but nevertheless, wish to do something for Christ. They may not have the tongue of the eloquent, but they have the hand of the diligent.”
