In a recent sermon, I taught on “The Fear of the Lord.” As an illustration, I video-taped people answering the question: Do you fear God? Of course, very few did—no surprise. This is why we hit the Fiesta Hermosa on Labor Day weekend with a vengeance. People don’t understand—don’t want to understand, nor believe—that they are “condemned already” because of their sin and unbelief in God’s one and only Son (John 3:18), and that “God’s wrath remains on [them].” (John 3:36)

As long as people are lost, we will be out there, even when we are considered “out there.”
