No wait. The Lakers aren’t in it this year. Bummer! No, we are not going to the NBA Finals like we have over the past couple of years. But I can dream, can’t I? Oh for the glory days of well, last year, when we actually preached at the Lakers Victory Parade:

I changed the name of my class! (You cannot say it without smiling.) New and improved and at a more manageable pace: 10 weeks long—and it’s FREE!

June 11: Palos Verdes Street Fair

This is an upscale street fair. Even though it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God, we still try.

Meet at Hope Chapel at noon to carpool for this very friendly excursion.

West Hollywood Gay Pride Parade

This one is on your own. The parade starts at 11am at the corners of Santa Monica Blvd. and Crescent Heights. (I’d love to lead this event but I’m preaching this weekend at my church.)
