Martyrs: Christians Face Charges
Two Indian Christian men working in the state of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia were recently arrested and sentenced to 45 days in prison. On Mar. 11, Vasantha Sekhar and Nese Yohan were beaten and arrested in the city of Batha on accusations of “proselytizing.”
Martyrs: Richard Wurmbrand
Richard Wurmbrand, founder of Voice of the Martyrs, wrote this in his book, Tortured for Christ:
“It must be understood that there are no nominal, half-hearted, lukewarm Christians in Russia or China. The price Christians pay is far too great. The next point to remember is that persecution has always produced a better Christian—a witnessing Christian, a soul-winning Christian.”
