If Abortionists Killed Dogs

This article from The American Vision explains clearly why there is so little media coverage of  the trial of baby killer Kermit Gosnell…

gosnell

Sarah Kliff, a health policy reporter for the Washington Post, described the Gosnell death clinic as a local story: “I cover policy for the Washington Post, not local crime. . . .”

[Therefore, it wasn’t covered nationally.]

Almost all news stories start locally. The Newtown shooting was a local story. So were the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman and Trayvon Martin.

Then there was the very local story of Michael Vick and dog cruelty. His story made front-page news across the country. USA Today carried an editorial that read, “Window on a cruel world.” The editorial reported that “Vick and two associates allegedly ‘executed approximately eight dogs . . . by various methods, including hanging, drowning, and slamming at least one dog’s body to the ground.’”

The editorial continued: “The animals’ crime? They performed badly in ‘testing’ sessions to see how viciously they would fight.”

If Vick had picked the abortion business, then no one would have batted an eye. It would have been considered a shrewd business venture. In fact, he would have been praised as an advocate of women’s rights. And if he had set up a “clinic” in a black neighborhood, he would have been called a “champion of minority women.” Read the rest here.

The left wing (liberal) media has an agenda and it’s the antithesis of truth and everything comprised of holy living!

On a happier note, congratulations to Gov. Brownback for having the guts to do what’s right regardless of the fallout!!

I agree with Steve L. the media is driving the discussion away from the cruelty done to the unborn.

But…there hasn’t been media silence? CNN updated their story on Gosnell last week. MSNBC updated it literally 12 hours prior to this comment. I cannot find a major news site that does not have at least a few articles and opinion pieces on this story.

There was also a two major stories last week, the biggest being the Boston bombing and there was also the Texas factory explosion. Yeah, the newer stories will get bigger headlines over older ones.

This sounds like sour grapes to me, Steve. The story is out there, and you’re just bitter that it hasn’t magically led to a tidal wave of anti-abortion feelings. What Gosnell did was heinous, but most people realize that is from the normal and ideal way for an abortion clinic to be run.

You’re not trying hard enough or else you’re asleep 23 hrs. a day!

I watch the NBC nightly news from New York with Brian Williams “religiously” and have never seen one mention of Gosnell and his abominable practices! And… that’s the highest rated news show of all the major networks!

Next time you decide to make such a loose statement, be sure you have at least 20 flat screens going 24/7! A bottle of “no doze” might help as well!

Abortion kills babies in the womb. Anyone who denies this fact is denying the truth.
