Twenty more years left to preach! (Or so)

Psalm 90:10 says that “The length of our days is seventy years—or eighty, if we have the strength.”

The Who sang, “Hope I die before I get old;” The Stones: “What a drag it is getting old.”

I never thought that I would live to see a half century go by, but here it is, today.

Where did the time go?

Hold the applause. And the mayo.

Also celebrating their birthdays: Michael Caine, Quincy Jones, Billy Crystal, Prince Albert ll, ruler of Monaco, and Albert Einstein, who is dead.

(Thanks to Paul Latour—who has maybe two or three good years left—for this Photoshop “gift.”)
