Well, I and a fellow evangelist (Marcus Pittman) went out to our local Denny’s this morning. It was cold… very cold. Cold enough that folks were squeezing in the restaurant like sardines. So sadly there was barely anybody *outside* in line.

So in lieu of preaching we gave out many giant 100 dollar bills and prayed that God would work on the hearts of those who read them. As Tony Miano has said, if you’re out there doing *something* for the Gospel, then your endeavor was a success. 🙂

Keep up the great work with the blog and your ministry Steve… it’s a pleasure to read!

Well I can’t find where to post my experiences handing out tracts so I figured this was as good a place as any. A homeless man encountered me outside a Ralphs store and asked me for some money. I told him that I didn’t have any but wanted to help him. He finally convinced me to get him some when I was in the store and I told him that I would. I could see some of the employees going out to ask him to leave when I was on my way out to give him some money. I gave him some money and a Trillion dolalr gospel tract and asked to read the back. I now realize that I missed an oppotunity to speak with him and practice sharing the gospel. He was in a hurry anyway as he waslked away from teh Ralphs employees.

I went to pickup some Indian food for dinner and when I paid I also gave the woman an Obama trillion dollar tract and she said, “Oh you already gave me one of these before. Oh but it was Michael Jackson last time. Where do you get these?” I told her about http://www.livingwaters.com and told her how I a whole slew of cool new ones with caricatures of Hollywood starts. As I was showing her them, her daughter whio was doing homework behind the counter took an interest and came over to see. I told her that I had a whole other stack of young Hollywood stars and was so excited she took a whole bunch of her favorites. Hopefully she will share them with her firends. 😀

I was at Ralphs picking up a couple of things one night and as I went to the register, there were a couple of young women in front of me. They were dressed……..well, let’s just say they were ready for a night out on the town. I thought, “I should hand them a tract. No, don’t do that.” Afraid maybe? Then I thought, “Why not? It won’t kill me. Just do it. Who cares what she thinks? You never know.”

So I held out a Trillion dollar bill figuring if she turns around I’ll give it to her. If she doesn’t, oh well. She turned around and I handed it to her. She kind of laughed and tried to give it back to me but I told her it was for her and she could keep it. I gave one to the cashier and bagger as well. Easy as that……..
