Famous Lost Words: George Clooney

“I don’t believe in Heaven and Hell. I don’t know if I believe in God.”
“All I know is that as an individual, I won’t allow this life—the only thing I know to exist—to be wasted.”
—In a September 28, 1997 special article to the Washington Post titled ‘George Clooney, Uncowled’, writer Sharon Waxman got this admission from the popular actor. (From celebatheists)

    Dear George,

There is a Heaven. There is a Hell. Be sure of both. The fact that you are still breathing and the your use of the word “IF” in regard to your question of belief in God’s existence points to HOPE for your salvation yet.

But time is running out. And your boasting individuality is flingling you headfirst into an eternal firey dung pile of waste for living the earthly life you tried to protect from being “wasted” by rejecting the One who gave you life in the first place.

It would be far better for you to know and trust in God before you die and reap the benefits of the provided sacrifice for your sins than to find out on Judgement Day that He was there all the time and, therefore, suffer eternally for rejecting what you already know to be true in your heart: Oscar is dead, God is alive!

    Sincerely,

An enemy of Hollywood, the lies it promotes and the poison it spews on screen and in real life

If he doesn’t know whether God exists, he doesn’t know whether or not he’s wasting his life.

    Thanks,
    Barry
