And the winner is…

The winner of the “Greek to Me” T-shirt contest that was posted on Tuesday is Laura, who answered first! Though not a Greek scholar she rightly surmised that the foreign language evangelistic question (at least its English transliteration) was: “If you died today, would you go to Heaven or Hell?”

A close second goes to atheist Azou, who thought it read:

“One Ring to rule them all
One Ring to find them
One Ring to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them”

And, Paul Latour, our Canadian evangelist who never gets to read many shirts because people are usually wearing parkas in the frozen north, guessed that it said: “Eat at Joe’s.”

Honorable mentions to all those who literally rendered the phrase, too.

I’m gonna celebrate with an extra blob of ketchup on my burg tonight…at Joe’s, of course. 🙂

    Congrats to Laura!

As soon as we get them in, I’ll send one to you. I assume you sent me your contact info?

And for Azou’s 2nd place finish? How about a “Lord’s Gym” shirt? What would others suggest?

I’d like a shirt showing Jesus punching a Tyrannosaurus Rex, please.

    Suggestion for Azou’s prize: A lifetime supply of FREE tracts AND an Ambassador’s Academy t-shirt if she ever decides to attend the course;

I think Paul deserves an “Eat At Joe’s” t-shirt as the winner in the Funniest Answer category.

I am male, just for future reference.

I’d rather not get a lifetime supply of tracts. Imagine how much gas I’d spend going to the recycling center!

I would honestly be excited if I somehow was able to get a single free tract of every tract made. I collect them, but I don’t need more than one of each.

    Hi Steve,

Does the “sample pack” contain just one each of the 100 different types? If so, I’ll happily take you up on your offer.

Nohm: Yes, there is one of each. Again, no strings and no preaching. I’ll also try to get that last part of Stroble’s book to you. Thanks.

    Azou,

Sorry about the “she”. My eyesight is not that great over the internet

Heh, you can preach to me, Steve. 🙂

If there’s one of each, then I’ll happily send you my address to your email account. Probably won’t be until tonight, but there’s no rush on that from my end.

I really appreciate this. Thanks! 🙂
