Your Thoughts: What Would You Have Said?

Okay all you evangelists. What happens if you don’t have your Gospel tracts and a huge door opens for you to share. For example:

I was at the Post Office and a man named Diosdado helped me with my mail. I asked him what his name meant.

“It means ‘God-given,'” he replied.

What would you have said to him then? I’ll tell you what I said on Monday, but I want to hear from you.

I think I would have started with asking him does his name have any special significance to him (does his name in any way define him). It seems like a good opening into asking about God’s law.

That’s very interesting. What do you think God has given you? What would you think if God offered a way for you to miss hell and go directly to heaven when you die? Would an offer like that be important to you? How much do you think it would cost? Explain sin, Law, judgement, forgiveness.

I agree with Craig. I would have automatically asked him, “If you were to die today, would you go to heaven or hell”?

I would have ask him if he were to die today and stood before GOD and GOD were to ask why should I let you into MY heaven what would you say?
