Here’s an encouragement from Charles Spurgeon, for those who share their faith regularly, from his devotional “Morning and Evening” :

“Call the labourers, and give them their hire.”
Matthew 20:8

God is a good paymaster; he pays his servants while at work as well as when they have done it; and one of his payments is this: an easy conscience. If you have spoken faithfully of Jesus to one person, when you go to bed at night you feel happy in thinking, “I have this day discharged my conscience of that man’s blood.” There is a great comfort in doing something for Jesus.

Oh, what a happiness to place jewels in his crown, and give him to see of the travail of his soul! There is also very great reward in watching the first buddings of conviction in a soul! To say of that girl in the class, “She is tender of heart, I do hope that there is the Lord’s work within.” To go home and pray over that boy, who said something in the afternoon which made you think he must know more of divine truth than you had feared! Oh, the joy of hope! But as for the joy of success! it is unspeakable. This joy, overwhelming as it is, is a hungry thing—you pine for more of it. To be a soul-winner is the happiest thing in the world. With every soul you bring to Christ, you get a new heaven upon earth. But who can conceive the bliss which awaits us above! Oh, how sweet is that sentence, “Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord!” Do you know what the joy of Christ is over a saved sinner? This is the very joy which we are to possess in heaven. Yes, when he mounts the throne, you shall mount with him. When the heavens ring with “Well done, well done,” you shall partake in the reward; you have toiled with him, you have suffered with him, you shall now reign with him; you have sown with him, you shall reap with him; your face was covered with sweat like his, and your soul was grieved for the sins of men as his soul was, now shall your face be bright with heaven’s splendour as is his countenance, and now shall your soul be filled with beatific joys even as his soul is. (From the evening reading of December 20.)

Handed out over 500 Tracts this month, making progress towards getting to handing out tracts everyday, had some great One2One’s and did some Open Air 2 weeks ago, when the weather was sunny and warm and people were hanging out by the riverwalk.

This month was great, but not as great expected. I was able to hand a ton of tracts out, which was awesome. I think I only missed one day this month. I really want to be able to do it everyday without exception.

I didn’t have many One2One but will do my best in April to catch some opportunities.

    Blessings,
    Mika

We have been dealing with so much this last month, including the impending birth of my now overdue grandson and my return to work, that I only handed out tracts.

My goal is to hand out at least 10 tracts a day or witness 1-to-1 with at least one person and preach in the open air whenever possible. Here’s how I did:

I missed my goal 4 days. (I would realize it usually when I was in bed.)

    I handed out 935+ tracts.

Witnessed to 65 1/2 people 1-2-1 (a lot of them in groups.)

    Open aired 10 times

And did one Inner Air (inside a church)

My everyday club goal for 2011 is to do something evangelistic to spread the good news everyday. It could be to pass out one or a hundred tracts; it could be to witness to one or more persons using the Law and Gospel; or it could be to preach in the open air; or in doors as the Lord directs.

This month of March I missed my goal 3 days. Praise the Lord. When I’m weak he is strong.

For He has done great things…Hallelujah! This month I had more opportunities than I could count. Our church sponsored a booth at the Festival of Whales in Dana Point and our team handed out 2000 St. Patrick’s Day $1MM tracts. Also, we went to the San Juan Capistrano Swallow’s Parade and handed out a ton of material. I moved my real estate office into the church office building so we could work together even more. Go to:

March was a good month, though I didn’t get to go to a St. Pat’s parade that I wanted to due to the weather. So that was sad. I think I missed two days overall in getting a tract placed out. Did get a few handed out. Also at my job I have been getting a lot of tracts out due to a gospel holder that was placed on the store’s bulletin board at least 6 months ago or more (just have forgotten to say anything about it until now). I didn’t put it there, a supposed “Christian” (false convert?) that had man-centered gospel tracts in the holder to begin with. Those did disappear overtime and have not reappeared for along time now. So now I have been putting million dollar bills in the holder and they disappear very quickly! It is clear that someone is taking the tracts. I just pray they are getting into the right hands for salvation. God bless!

Regretably I fell short 15 days in the month of March. I allowed the busyness of selling my home and finding a rental become a huge distraction. I ask for your prayers so that I will get out of the way this month and be used by our Great God. I am so glad I am a part of this club because it is very convicting and also very encouraging. I am humbled to see such servants of Christ who are being faithful to the call to spread the Gospel! Love you all

All Glory and Praise be to God!!

In March, by His Grace I was able to Evangelise every day by either: passing out tracts, having a 1-2-1 or group discussion, and/or open air preaching.

With Hope Chapel, I went to Venice Beach, The St. Patrick’s Day Parade and The Anti-War Protest in Hollywood.

I also went to the Riverside Air Show to hand out tracts with another group of dear Brothers & Sisters in The Lord.

During the rainy days, we went to a Train/Bus Station and handed out tracts and had some good 1-2-1’s. And, we also went to the Amtrak Station on a Saturday Afternoon, some good chances to sit down and speak with people.

Thanks to everyone who shares what The Lord is doing in and through your life!!

Goal is to share the Gospel with someone or in some way everyday. I managed to do that for the entire month. There were a couple days when I was not feeling well. But still was able to share the Gospel by mailing a tract in a business reply envelope or using Omegle.

Thanks for providing this monthly reminder. What a great encouragement.

March was a better month for me than I’ve had in a while. My goal is to hand out at least 30 tracts per month, and in March I personally gave away 42, and left tracts in places, the number of which I did not count. I was actually able to have 3 1-2-1’s. I was able to join in homeless outreaches twice, and I went door-to-door for the first time. Soli Deo Gloria!

    Steve,
In my eagerness to leave the house to travel to the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Phila. I left without my tracts. Never again. Over 100K attended the 3 day event. I plan to get a group together for next years as it was a ripe place. That got me off track for a week, but I’m back on my daily effort.

I missed 7 days. Distractions and pre-occupations of this world….God forgive me. I did have many one to one witnessing exchanges that were great experiences. Thank you all for the accountability.

    Hey Steve,

It JUST hit me that I forgot to post my everyday club results for March! Rest assured, that I’ve still been faithful, my friend.

    Here was the scoop:

    – 30+ one-to-ones
    – 200+ tracts passed
    – 2 open airs
    – 2 inside airs (gospel preaching events)

God bless you for your ministry, my friend!

    In Christ,
    Cory
