The Everyday Club 2012

On January 1, 2004, I made a commitment to share my faith every day. (Read about that here.) Making this commitment has taught me to be a more gracious Christian in the face of opposition, a more faithful evangelist in the presence of the unsaved, and a more thankful disciple of Christ. Thankful because I once was lost but now am found.

I am wiping the slate clean this year. That is, all who have signed up for this Club the past three years will be erased from my email list. Why? Well over a hundred people have joined but only about twenty five continue to report in. I don’t want my monthly email reminders to be reported as SPAM.

Here are the details and what will be required of you. (Turn up volume for video, please.):

This is an evangelistic Club where you make a goal to share your faith everyday through tracts, personal witnessing or open air preaching. You make your own personal goal and report it at the monthly Everyday Club post I write on the first of each month. The minimum goal would be to hand out one tract a day, but you can make whatever goal you want.

The Club’s purpose is to allow you an opportunity to set an evangelistic goal and monitor your progress and faithfulness to that goal. This is not a legalistic prescription or a vow; it’s simply a personal goal. Sometimes you will fall short, other times you’ll hit it.

My own personal goal is to hand out 10 tracts a day or have at least one personal witnessing encounter, and to open air preach when the opportunity arises. Because of my commitment to The Everyday Club I don’t want to miss a single day—and believe me, there are some days that I just plain didn’t want to share my faith.(Read about evangelist D. L. Moody’s (1837 – 1899) everyday commitment by clicking here.)

Remember, it’s not a vow, it’s a goal! You may fall short of that goal, but at least you’ll have one. Don’t be afraid. Have faith.

Too many times we wait for an “open door” or “that special person” to come along who God wants us to witness to. The early disciples didn’t wait, they moved! It’s my understanding that Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost, which gives us carte blanche to speak anytime, anywhere.

As an extra bonus when you join, you may also enroll in the Bezeugen Tract Club, an organization that will send you 30 free high-quality business card-type tracts a month! (Click here to sign up for your 30 free tracts.)

What more can I say to convince you? Please sign up with your goal in the comments section below! (Please share this article on Facebook by LIKING it and Tweeting it.)

Count me in for another year! My commitment of having a self-initiated Gospel conversation every day continues. I’m also committed to bringing a fellow believer from church with me at least three days a week.

My goal is to hand out at least 10 tracts a day, or witness one to one daily and open air preach when I can.

I hope to do this until I die.

I would like to glory God by handing out at least, 10 gospel tracts per day and witness to at least, 1 person per day. I first saw you at the veterans day parade and was like, I want to do that! I think it will really make me feel good within my spirit.

Ok my goal for this year is (I’ve really been thinking about it) is what I’m calling 3-2-1. Lay out at least 3 tracts for people to find, hand out at least 2 tracts too people, and do 1 one to one with a person. I plan to start with my goal being to reach this once a week though I do want to get to the point where it is everyday (due to the fact of living in a very small town makes it more of a challenge to reach this goal everyday when it comes to handing out tracts and doing one to one’s. Praying God makes a way!)

Looking forward to what God has for me and all of us here in declaring the gospel in 2012!!!

Goal for 2012 is at least 3 tracts per day – and, of course, hopefully reach people like Jim D so that God receives the glory! I pray that the scales drop from his eyes and the LORD opens his ears to hear the Almighty call Him to repentance and faith in His One and Only Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ. Amen and Amen!

I would like to continue this next year as well. I am always encouraged and at least once a month held accountable, thanks to you, for doing what God has called all believers to do ‘go into all the world and preach the gospel’. So thank you for the continued challenge

Wow! I’m so excited so many are signing up again! Thanks for everyone’s encouragement. I was wondering if anyone else would be signing up again. I’m hoping for a hundred sign ups.

The Rose Parade went great today. I have a few videos that demonstrate a few more evangelistic techniques… and a possible world record was caught as well!

All of you will be getting a confirmation email in a few weeks!

    Happy New Year again!

For 2011 my goal was to do something evangelistic everyday. This year I aim to do something evangelistic for the next 100 days. Last month I missed my goal one day. Stay faithful my brothers and sisters to the end.

I like Thomas’ goal of 3-2-1. I will start out by placing three tracks somewhere around town whenever I go shopping, give a track to two people and share the gospel with one person once a week. I set my goal small and hope to see it grow to a daily account. I used to wait for God to send people to me as I am a high school teacher who doesn’t get out much. Now, I will be more assertive in being a follower of Christ. Thank you for this opportunity.

Just found this today. I want to sign up and my goal is to hand out at least 1 tract everyday personally, to leave tracts on every car which parks outside my workplace door, to give out tracts with others from my church as often as possible and to give the “Good Person Test” on omegle at least twice per week.

I am a stay at home homeschooling mom, so I don’t actually get out every day. But I’d love to join & my goal is to hand out at least 5 tracts and have at least 1 one-to-one every time I leave the house.
