Its okay Steve, the Twinkie will rise again… miraculously from the dead… though in truth it will be bought by another company and put back on the shelves.

  Hey Vin, how I hope you’re correct! This is one of the great tragedies in my lifetime!! When Dolly Madison removed the “Boston Pie” from their line-up in the mid 60’s I was crushed and now I have to face this harsh reality! I truly don’t know how much more I can take! :<(

Naw the liquidation is beginning, now it just remains to be seen whether or not the buyers will buy up the production factories and the workers or just the brand name Twinkie. It would be advantageous for the buyer company to take on the whole production rather than starting over from scratch…. and hopefully the people get to keep their jobs.
