Spring 2011 Evangelism Class Grads

An amazing thing happened last Thursday night. I believe a new record was set. I’m still in shock and awe…. Ten weeks ago thirty three people started my class, “Sharing Your Faith Without Fear.” On graduation night, twenty seven made it through, defying the the average 50% drop out rate. (See larger image here.)

I believe I know why only six people left the class instead of the normal sixteen. Here’s the reason:

Ten weeks allows people to grow into the notion that they can indeed share their faith; it’s not only for “evangelists.” They have time to dip their toes into the sometimes scary waters of witnessing. They have ample opportunity to listen to, think about and meditate on their call to “Go!” This also affords them a longer period in which to listen to “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” numerous times, as many of them did.

I was able to explain things more fully over 10 weeks and assigned homework that eased students into the  pool, whereas my six week course tossed them cannonball-like into the deep end.

I’m excited about the new name change I will be introducing for the next session: “Sharing Your Faith…Made Easy.” (You have to say it with a smile.)

If you’d like my new 10 week course including teaching notes and student notes, I will send you a hard copy in a binder and online access FREE OF CHARGE when you contact me by leaving a comment or emailing me at [email protected]

I hope you will enjoy the same success! God bless you!
