Out of the Country

I will be away on a short term mission trip to a Communist country where we will be ministering Christ’s love to a leper colony, street kids… and doing other things. I will hopefully be able to write about where we went and what we did more specifically when I get back around August 10. (Read my multi-part story from when I went to China by clicking here.)

In the mean time, I have posts scheduled in advance, some new, some old.

My great friend (and DMV preacher) “Righteous” Richard Chavarria will be moderating the comments. (Atheists be warned! He’s a lot firmer in his moderation than I am. In other words, if you want your comment posted, be nice or get your comment trashed.)  So far, Richard has preached to over 15,000 people in the lines of the DMV. Here he is in action:

  1. Should be an eye opening trip, safe travels Steve.

Richard, I trust you will give open dialogue the respect it deserves and publish honest criticism. The power to censor this blog may not be amazingly significant, but it will be a true indicator of your character.

    Take care,
    Vagon

  2. Praying for you pastor Steve And team.

  3. Hey, Richard, welcome to the party. What country is Steve-O going to? There’s a limited number of leper colonies left, and I didn’t think any of them were in “communist” countries.

  4. Pastor Steve—May God bless you as you go and may the Holy Spirit use you to declare His gospel!

“Righteous” Richard—God bless you! That was an awesome video of you open-air preaching. It was neat to see the people so attentive and quit, may the Holy Spirit purse those people and that they would repent and trust in Jesus. Again keep going brother and may God continue to strength you in you’re evangelistic endeavors!

    • Thomas,

Thank you for the kind words. And thank you to Pastor Steve who has continued to encourage me and council me. See it is true, you can teach and old dog new tricks.
