Martyrs: Help save Pastor Youcef’s life!

It is a case that literally involves life and death. We’re talking about the promised execution of a Christian pastor in Iran. His only crime: He embraced Christianity and, for that, has been sentenced to death by the Muslim-controlled government of Iran. (Read the details here.)

The ACLJ has mounted an aggressive international effort to save his life. We’ve contacted members of Congress, international leaders, and the news media – working to put pressure on the Iranian government to stop this planned execution that could occur at any time.

Now, the ACLJ is calling on Secretary of State Clinton to get involved – to stand up for this Christian pastor – to call on Iran to spare his life. Add your name to our petition now. Please click here to sign the petition.

I heard a recent Christian radio program that suggested that there will be 300 fewer atheist every 24 hours. In this same radio broadcast I learned that atheistic governments accounted for over 100,000,000 deaths in the last century.

I also learned that A. Hitler once said,” History will recognize our movement as the great battle for humanity’s liberation, a liberation from the curse of Mount Sinai..(God is) a tyrant who orders one to do the very things one doesn’t like.”

History shows that if we do not learn our lessons we are bound to repeat the same mistakes. The holocaust our GI’s fought to end. Has occurred 10 fold in the Land of the Free. We need to repent as a nation and ask God to have mercy on us.

When one denies the God of scripture, the God that you should fear, one is storing up wrath for the day of wrath.

Right on Richard, we have it too good here, I often fear that many of us would say that we are rich and need nothing, I feel this way often I’m afraid, but yet not realize that I am spiritually poor, blind, pitiful and naked! Let us pray that we will heed Christ’s counsel to buy from him gold refined by fire and white robes to cover our nakedness. And let us not forget:

“‘I know your tribulation and your poverty ( but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’

Amen, and let us not forget to pray for all our persecuted brothers and sister in our Lord. May the Holy Spirit speak through Youcef at his trial!
