June 2013 Evangelism Schedule

Charles Spurgeon wrote: “From all our congregations a bitter cry should go up unto God, unless conversions are continually seen. If our preaching never saves a soul, and is not likely to do so, should we not better glorify God as peasants, or as tradesmen? What honour can the Lord receive from useless ministers? The Holy Ghost is not with us, we are not used of God for his gracious purposes unless souls are quickened into heavenly life. Brethren, can we bear to be useless? Can we be barren, and yet content?”*

Are you content in your evangelism efforts? Probably not. Want some excitement to add to your zeal? Then join us this month for any of these excursions during the month of June. But first, did you see this video of John Travolta taking a Million Dollar Bill Gospel tract as Steven Spielberg looks on? This was from the very first Ambassadors’ Academy (which is now defunct.) Read what happened at this Academy here.

“unless conversions are continually seen.” This doesn’t make sense (what a surprise). You and Ray, you never talk about how many people convert. You don’t keep score, so to speak. You say all you can do is tell people about the law and gospel blah blah blah. So, if you don’t keep track of conversions, how, according to Spurgeon, do you know if you’re successful?

    Good morning Steve,

Why is the Ambassadors’ Academy defunct now, what happened to it?

I’m amazed about the class starting tomorrow June 6th where it will take 8 weeks to “show how abortion is primarily an affront to God and His sovereignty.” How dare you?! This is so personally offensive to me as a morally upright human being! You cannot take away the pain abortion causes me no matter what you claim. I see you as nothing but a “holier-than-thou” charlatan. I hate abortion because I am personally compelled. You on the other hand have to be against abortion because it’s an affront to your God. – Cheryl Kazee, Ashland, Kentucky, USA
