      Jim,

I will purchase three holiday baskets. One for Steve, one for Ray and one for Tony. We can hand deliver them and sing a Christmas Carol. I’ll provide the transportation and the hot dogs on a stick, you provide the addresses. I’ll even buy a fourth holiday basket for rufus and you can send that to him for me.

I hope you have a good time in Los Angeles.

Considering the traffic situation in certain parts of Los Angeles, you can be 10 miles from downtown and still be 90 minutes away from Los Angeles.

Jim, I am kind of bummed. I thought perhaps Steve, Righteous Richard and me could take you to Old Tony’s for lunch (my treat) and then play some vintage arcade games and skiball at the Redondo Fun Factory arcade.

Please consider spending some time with us, your SoCal buds.

C’mon, Jim. Don’t be afraid to take advantage of some good ole Christian hospitality! You could even write about how you are taking God’s money from gullible Christians to support an atheist! Wow! ๐Ÿ™‚

        lol Steve.

        Jim,

You could write down your experience and call it “Breaking Bread with Fundies”.

    Jim,

Iโ€™m not sure what route you are taking. If you are on the 101 South and if you like biker bars/restaurants, you should stop by the Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas (Los Angeles County). Just Google it to find the website. It is not a rowdy place and family friendly. You donโ€™t have to be a biker to go there but if you are a biker you will feel right at home. You will have a great meal and a good time.

    Steve,

You can take your wife and girls there. It is a little bit of a drive from our neck of the woods but worth stopping by if you are in the area.

      Steve,

Sidenote… I think that the Sagebrush Cantina is family friendly during the day and early evening. Some of the later evening events are geared more towards the biker and bar clientele.

The few times I have been there it seems that families are seated in the enclosed outdoor seating area which is very nice. So it is advisable to go there on a day when there is nice weather.

Take a few tracts along, you might run into some Bikers for Jesus
