What the Billionaires Said To Me
The Internet is a wonderful thing; it opens lines of communication between people who would never meet or talk otherwise….
I sent a Facebook message to Madeleine Pickens, the wild horse activist and wife of billionaire T. Boone Pickens, whom my daughters gave some Gospel tracts to on New Year’s Day at the Tournament of Roses Parade. I thanked her for taking a photo with my kids and let her know that I was the pastor of evangelism at our church. I also gave her the link to the article on my blog.
Well, to my surprise, she sent me a message back!
Also, I forgot to tell you what T. Boone asked me when I took the picture of them both. Here were their messages:
