Evangelism Adventures for December 2012

Just in time for the holidays—another month of evangelism destinations! Please consider joining us if you are in the L. A. area visiting family. Can you think of a better way to spend the Christmas season than reminding Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Winter Solstice celebrants about the true meaning of this time of year?

And remember, the Hope Chapel evangelism team will provide you with all the tracts and training that you need, as well as give you a month’s worth of Gospel tracts for your own use!

Saturday, Dec. 1: Hermosa Beach Pier. Meet at Hope Chapel at noon to carpool. We will return by 3pm.

Thursday, Dec. 6: El Camino College Outreach. Meet on the Library Lawn from 12:30-2:00pm, rain or shine.

Friday, Dec. 7: Redondo Beach Pier or LAX (depending on the weather). Meet at Hope Chapel at 4:30pm for the “Hour of Power,” a one hour excursion into the harvest fields.

Dec. 8: Whittier Christmas Parade. Meet at Hope Chapel at 7:30am to carpool or meet at the Metro Rail Station in Carson on Santa Fe Ave and Del Amo Blvds. at approx. 8:10am. Returning by 2:00pmish.

Evangelism Adventure: The Hollywood B-Lister Parade

EDIT: SEE UPDATED MEETING TIMES BELOW. This parade is also known as the Hollywood Christmas Parade, and this will be the 5th year in a row that we have attended. Why is it the B-Lister Parade? Because many “stars” from Disney TV, old sitcoms and the Hollywood past ride in this parade—even former pop artists!—and we are always ready to give them a Gospel tract.

In the 2010 parade, Jason Earles and Boo Boo Stewart got the Gospel! I know what you’re thinking: Who are those guys? Yep. We ask the same question every year.
